Some of the landmark transactions involving media and broadcasting that Makes & Partners advised on are as follows:
- First listing of an Indonesian television station, PT Indosiar Visual Mandiri Tbk, on the Jakarta Stock Exchange and the establishment of a joint venture for a new 24 hour music television station for Indonesia.
- Advised PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI), the first Indonesian private broadcasting and television company, in connection with its public issuance of IDR 700 billion Medium Term Notes.
- Initial Public Offering of PT Media Nusantara Citra (MNC) Tbk. in 2007, which is to date the second biggest IPO in Indonesia with deal size of IDR 3.7 trillion, after the IPO of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk which was also handled by Makes & Partners.
- USD168, million 10.75% Guaranteed Secured Notes due 2011 issued by Media Nusantara Citra BV and guaranteed by PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk in 2006.
