Some of the transactions relating to telecommunications industry that Makes & Partners has advised on are as follows:
- Makes & Partners was appointed by the Government of Indonesia to advice on the USD 620 million strategic sale of shares of PT Indosat (Persero) Tbk.
- Makes & Partners has also advised private Indonesian telecommunications companies, such as Mobile 8 in its corporate and debt restructuring, financing (bank and vendor) matters, strategic equity investments and equipment supply agreements.
- Makes & Partners advised on a Syndication Facility of USD 360 million to PT Profesional Telekomunikasi, a company engaged in telecommunication towers business.
- Makes & Partners acted as the counsel for one of the biggest telecommunication and broadcasting company in Indonesia namely PT First Media for its complex internal restructuring with its subsidiaries PT Link Net and PT First Media Television. In addition to that, Makes & Partners also took part in its strategic partnership with CVC Capital Partners with the total investment value of IDR 2.3 trillion.
